KERW (101.3 MHz) is an FM radio station licensed to Los Osos-Baywood Park and broadcasting to the San Luis Obispo area of the Central Coast of California. Its transmitter is located off TV Towers Road on Cuesta Peak in Santa Margarita, California.[1] It airs a non-commercial eclectic music radio format. Listener donations fund the station.

History

101.3 first signed on the air in 1989. Its call sign was KEDZ. From 1990 to 2016, its call letters were KSTT-FM and it aired an adult contemporary music format. In July 2016, the station was donated by its owner, El Dorado Broadcasting, to Santa Monica College. On November 7, 2016, KERW began simulcasting the "Eclectic 24" format of KCRW's HD2 channel.[2]
