KBIX (1490 AM, "The Sports Animal") is an American radio station licensed to serve the community of Muskogee, Oklahoma, United States. The station is owned by Antonio Perez, through licensee Grupo Teletul Multimedia, LLC.

It broadcasts a sports talk format, in part as a simulcast of KYAL-FM (97.1 FM) in Muskogee, Oklahoma, as an affiliate of the Sports Animal Network.[1]

The station was assigned the call sign "KBIX" by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).[2]

History

KBIX was a charter member of the Oklahoma Network when it was formed in 1937.[3]
