Kurisinkal Sebastian Manoj (born 19 April 1965) is a politician from Kerala and was a Member of Parliament (14th Lok Sabha), representing Alapuzha Lok Sabha constituency.[1] He contested the 2009 Lok Sabha elections from Alapuzha constituency as a Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)) candidate.
Some of the most important bills presented by Manoj include "The Fishermen (Welfare) Bill 2005",[2] "The Petrol Pump Workers (Welfare) Bill 2005" and "The Coir Factory Workers (Welfare) Bill 2006".[3]
He resigned from CPI(M) on 9 January 2010, citing that the line of the party clashed with his religious beliefs.[4]
