Character background

Juvila is the daughter of Cilatus the leader of Hera Volo. She is Etheria's greatest warrior and has never lost a fight with any man who has challenged her in the arena. She has the power to manipulate time, either to speed it up or slow it down. She is also one of the four guardians of the Golden Clock or Hourglass, and she participated in the Great Encantadian War on the side of Etheria.

As headstrong as she is beautiful she refuses to marry any man unless they are able to defeat her in battle. Thus far she has yet to meet her match. She also accepted a charter from Queen Avria to be a captain (general) in the Etherian Army. But powerful people like Barkus have set their sights on the petite fighter and will stop at nothing to obtain her.

She married Animus of Hera Sensa after he successfully defeated her in the coliseum. She fell in love with this fighter since he embodied the qualities she had sought for so long, in fact she believed that she would never find such a man. She became enraged with the other kingdoms and clamored for war after they killed Animus in the couple's bed chambers on their wedding night.

She became Amihan's enemy during the Sang'gres arrival to the Etherian age. In Book 3, the Herans were revived via an orb in which Ether, their goddess made as a "gift" for Cassandra, and were getting revenge on what the Sang'gres' done after fall of Etheria. She was killed by Pirena during the battle with Andora, who was killed later by the keeper of Fire Gem.

In 2017, she was introduced by Hara Avria to the Sang'gres through the portal of time along with Hera Odessa. It was revealed that during the Great Encantadian War, Juvila is the main rival of Sang'gre Amihan I, a Lirean sentinel champion and Mine-a's sister.
