Julia Lockwood (born Margaret Julia Leon; 23 August 1941)[1] is a retired British actress. She was born in Ringwood, Hampshire, the daughter of British film star Margaret Lockwood and Rupert Leon. Her parents divorced in 1949.
She acted from a fairly early age. She began to gain leading roles in the late 1950s, often in comedy films such as Please Turn Over. She was in the radio series Brothers in Law with Richard Briers in the 1970s.
Julia Lockwood retired from acting in 1976, after the birth of her third child. She and her late husband Ernest Clark had four children, Tim, Nicholas, Lucy and Katharine.[2]
