Joseph Mendes (born March 30, 1991 in Évreux, France) is a French footballer who currently plays for Reading.

Career

Club

On 8 July 2016, Mendes signed a two-year contract with Championship side Reading.[1] After a slow start to his Royals career, mainly due to consistent injuries, Mendes scored a brace, on his first start, in a 3-1 away victory over Aston Villa on 15 April 2017.[2]

Personal life

Mendes was born in France to a Bissau-Guinean father and a Senegalese mother.[3]
