Jorowar Jhumko (Bengali: জড়োয়ার ঝুমকো); is a Bengali television Soap Opera that premiered on August 22, 2016 and airs on Zee Bangla. It is produced by Snehasish Chakraborty and it stars Shweta Bhattacharya and Subhankar Saha in lead roles and Subhasish Mukherjee, Dipankar De and Ankita Majumdar in supporting roles. It also stars Debjani Chattopadhyay in a negative role. The lead characters are back with this soap after Tumi Robe Nirobe. The show telecasts at Monday to Saturday at 7:30 pm.
Plot summary
In this inaugural episode of Jorowar Jhumko, a huge Zamindar family, Roy Parivaar, is shown celebrating the commencement of their annual 50th Durga Puja festival. This is when the house helper announces that a shooting was to be held at the Roy house. Meanwhile the ladies of the house are shown worried for not being able to find their traditional necklace. The eldest wife of the house gets annoyed and angry to learn that the traditional necklace had been sent for the ornament advertisement shooting. At the Roy residence, a husband and wife are shown fighting with each other over a photograph of a beautiful lady. On the other hand, another young girl along with her father, a goldsmith, mourns for the death of their beloved over the photograph of the same lady. How this lady named Moti related to Roy residence? What is the story going to develop into? While the two sisters Jorowa and Jhumko are introduced as the daughters of a goldsmith to us, at the Roy residence all the family members are shown dancing to the rhythm of a piano. Jhumko later takes the blessings of the elders at her house on the eve of her birthday. This is when the elder wife at the Roy residence overhears her father-in-law talking about the family's traditional necklace. Why is this necklace so important?
Current Plot
Everyone thinks Jhumko is dead accept Kohinoor, Hirok and Panna Lal . One day Kohinoor sees Jhumko in Biju's house . However Jhumko is hiding her identity from Ginni Roy . She wants to take revenge from Ginni Roy for trying to kill her. Ginni Roy goes to a jewellary story where she chooses the best necklace for tikli. But someone snatches It from her and that person buys with . The price was 50 lakhs but that person doubles the amount to 75 lakhs . Ginni Roy is shocked by hearing the price. She does not know that it is Jhumko who brought the necklace. Kohinoor, Tridha, and Tikli Biju's wedding rituals are going on. Jhumko says she will come at the wedding day of Biju and Tikli to shock Ginni Roy . Finally Jhumko get's to know her mother's killer's they are none other than Hirok , Ginni Roy , and Kohinoor's mother . Jhumko vows to take revenge from all her mother killer's . Also everyone in Roy mansion get's to know that jhumko is allive by Ginni Roy's informer .
