Jordan Nicholson (born 29 September 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for League One side Peterborough United.
Playing career
Nicholson began his career as a reserve team player for Cambridge City, before a successful—albeit injury-afflicted—2014–15 season in the United Counties League with Eynesbury Rovers.[1] He joined Histon of the Southern League in summer 2015, where he scored 16 goals in the space of four months.[2] He signed a two-and-a-half year contract with Peterborough United on 24 December 2015, at which point he gave up his former job as a carer.[2] He made his debut in the Football League on 20 February 2016, coming on as a half-time substitute for Harry Toffolo in a 3–0 defeat to Millwall at The Den.[3]
Nicholson was loaned out to Nuneaton Town on 4 August 2016 until the rest of the season, but got called back on 21 March 2017 because he was doing well in Nuneaton.[4]
