Jokerman is a typeface created in 1995 by British designer Andrew K. Smith.[1] It employs dots, spirals and straight lines that can either be attached or placed near each letter or integrated into the character to create negative space. It was described by Microsoft as "fanciful internal and external elements."[2]
Usage
- As a display typeface, it is more suitable for titles than large streams of text due to its characters complicated shapes.
- Jokerman was used for the original YogaKids logo on the original 1995 VHS Release.
- Jokerman was used for the San Anselmo Shakey Grounds Coffee logo.
- Jokerman was used in Kauai for the Aloha Juice Bar logo.
