John Martin (4 December 1946 – 16 November 2013)[1] was an English former footballer who played as a Winger in The Football League.
Career
Born in Ashington,[2] Martin made one appearance for Aston Villa before making appearances in the Football League for Colchester United, Southport and Workington, where he made over 200 league appearances[3]
Martin lived in Tenerife from 1997. In 2006, he was diagnosed with cancer. He died in November 2013.[4]
