John William Behnken
John William Behnken (March 19, 1884, in Cypress, Texas – February 23, 1968) was the sixth president of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod from 1935 to 1962. He previously served as president of the Synod's Texas District from 1926 to 1929.
