John Sinclair (Archdeacon of Middlesex)

John Sinclair[1] (20 August 1797 - 22 May 1875)[2] was Archdeacon of Middlesex[3] from 1844[4] until his death.[5]

The son of Sir John Sinclair of Ulbster,[6] he was educated at Pembroke College, Oxford.[7] He was ordained in 1821. He was appointed Vicar of Kensington[8] in 1842,[9] a post he held while also archdeacon.[10]
