John Clanchy(born 8 January 1943) is an Australian novelist and short story writer.
Biography
Clanchy was born in Melbourne. He currently lives in Canberra.
Career
Clanchy is the author of five novels and five collections of short stories.
His fiction has won major awards in Europe, the US, New Zealand and Australia, including the Queensland Premier’s Award for short fiction and, on two occasions, the ACT Book of the Year.[1]
Clanchy is "widely acknowledged as a master of the short literary form."[2]
