John Charles Evans (born 1947) is a former England international lawn and indoor bowler.[1]
Evans played professional football for Torquay United F.C. from 1964-1965.[2] He started playing bowls and was first capped by England in 1973.[3]
He won a bronze medal in the fours with Bill Irish, Tommy Armstrong and Peter Line at the 1976 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Johannesburg.[4] He also won a silver in the pairs at the 1974 British Commonwealth Games.[5]
