Jogiara
a village is named after Jogi Thakur, who migrated from Jhodhpur, Rajsthan in the mid-17th century, with his two siblings Bir Singh and other one,[1] and settled in present-day Raghopur, Vaishali (where his village is named after him as Birpur). The other one settled in Rawaich village, near Bakhtiyarpur, Patna. They belong to the royal clan of Rathores of Jodhpur.
Main Communities are: Rajput; Maithil Brahmins; Maithil Karna Kayastha; Haluwai, Thakur (Hazaam), Teli, Sudi, Mandal, Sewak, Tatma, Dom, Chamar, Jogiara, a place of historical achievement in the period of Muslims Emperor, this village has not been suppressed for paying the Land revenue due to the bravery action taken.
Mithila Maharaja Sir Kameshwar Singh, also known as Darbhanga Maharaja, never levied any land tax on this village.
Jogiara is a village of very royalist behaviour nature. In comparison to other village of Bihar, this village support the promotion of democracy among the inhabitants without any caste.

The oldest Zamindari status holding House called the Haweli Deudhi of Jogiara.
This Palace called as Deudhi was made by Babu Gopal Singh, a high level Zamindar Person. The Next Haweli called the Palace of Babu Narayan Prasad singh. Every types of Houses in these days are present in this village.
Roads: roads are connected with the District headquarters, Darbhanga. All the parts of this village are linked with Roads.
Railways: Railways links trains are passes from Jogiara Railway Station on the main link Darbhanga- Sitamarhi- Raxaul
Female-to-male ratio of Jogiara is 93.01% compared to the Bihar's female to male ratio 91.93%. It is unsatisfactory and the people should drive some campaign to improve this.

The Degree holders in the several fields of Education are presents in this village. like the D.Litt ( Doctor of Letter's); Ph.D. ( Doctor of Philosophy; LL.D; M.D. ( Medicine & Surgery); Engineer, Chartered Accountants, MBA, etc.
The literacy rate of the village is 57.25% compared to the literacy rate of state 47%. The literacy rate of the village is better than state literacy rate. Anyhow, the rate of literacy is low and needs immediate attention of Union and State Government.
