Joel Bomgar (born 1980) is an American businessman and politician. He is the founder of Bomgar, a tech company. He serves in the Mississippi House of Representatives.
Early life
Joel Bomgar was born on February 6, 1980.[1] He graduated from Belhaven University.[1] He served in the Mississippi Air National Guard.[1]
Career
Bomgar founded Bomgar, a tech company.[1] As CEO, he helped grow Bomgar Corporation to the world's leading provider of enterprise remote support technology that employs over 200 people worldwide.[2]
Bomgar served on the Steering Committee of the Mississippi Economic Council Mississippi Blueprint.[1] Additionally, he served on the Boards of Trustees of the Madison County Foundation and his alma mater, Belhaven University.[1]
Bomgar has served as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives since January 2016.[1] He represents District 58, including Madison, Mississippi.[1] He serves as Vice-Chairman of the House Medicaid Committee.[1]
