Brian Wade Anderson (born May 19, 1993) is an American professional baseball third baseman in the Miami Marlins organization.

Anderson attended Deer Creek High School in Edmond, Oklahoma and was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 20th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft.[1] He did not sign with the Twins and played college baseball at the University of Arkansas.[2] After his junior year he was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the third round of the 2014 MLB Draft.[3]

Anderson made his professional debut with the Batavia Muckdogs and was promoted to the Greensboro Grasshoppers after 20 games. In 2015, he played for the Jupiter Hammerheads and after the season played in the Arizona Fall League.[4] Anderson started 2016 with Jupiter and was promoted to the Jacksonville Suns during the season.[5] He was named the Marlins Minor League Player of the Year.[6] He played in the Arizona Fall League after the season for the second consecutive year.[7][8]

Austin James Dean (born October 14, 1993) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Miami Marlins organization.

Dean was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the fourth round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft out of Klein Collins High School in Spring, Texas.[9] He made his professional debut that season with the Gulf Coast Marlins.[10] In 2013, he played for the Batavia Muckdogs and was promoted to the Greensboro Grasshoppers. He returned to Greensboro in 2014.[11]

Joe Dunand

Joseph Alexander Dunand Jr. (born September 20, 1995) is an American professional baseball shortstop for the Miami Marlins organization.

Dunand attended Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami, Florida, and North Carolina State University. He played college baseball as a shortstop for the NC State Wolfpack. The Miami Marlins selected Dunand with the 51st overall selection of the 2017 MLB draft.[12] Dunand signed with the Marlins, receiving a $1.2 million signing bonus.[13]

Dunand's uncle is Alex Rodriguez.[14][15]

Stone Garrett

Stone Stone Garrett (born November 22, 1995) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Miami Marlins organization.

Garrett was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the eighth round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft out of George Ranch High School in Richmond, Texas.[16][17] He signed with the Marlins rather than play college baseball at Rice University.[18] He made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Marlins.[19] Playing with the Batavia Muckdogs in 2015, Garrett was named the Marlins Minor League Player of the Year after hitting .297 with a .933 On-base plus slugging (OPS), 11 home runs and 46 runs batted in.[20][21]

Merandy González

Merandy González (born October 9, 1995) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Miami Marlins organization.

González was signed by the New York Mets as an international free agent in March 2013.[22] He made his professional debut that season with the Dominican Summer League Mets. On July 28, 2017 he was traded by the Mets along with Ricardo Cespedes for A. J. Ramos.[23]

Joe Gunkel

Joseph Dillon Gunkel (born December 30, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Miami Marlins organization.

Gunkel was the MVP of the NCAA Division II College World Series in 2012. He would later be drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 18th round of the 2013 draft. Gunkel was traded to the Baltimore Orioles in June 2015 for Alejandro De Aza. At the end of the 2015 season, Gunkel was rated the 24th best prospect in the Orioles farm system.[24] The Orioles added him to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season,[25] and designated him for assignment on April 7, 2017.[26] He was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers on April 10, 2017, for a player to be named later or cash considerations.[27] The Dodgers designated him for assignment on April 25.[28] He was claimed off waivers by the Miami Marlins on April 27, 2017.[29]

Brian Miller (born August 20, 1995) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Miami Marlins organization.

Miller attended Millbrook High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. He committed to play college baseball for the University of North Carolina at Asheville, but decommitted when the school's coach was fired. He enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and walked on to the North Carolina Tar Heels.[30] The Miami Marlins selected Miller with the 36th overall selection of the 2017 MLB draft.[31] Miller signed with the Marlins, receiving a $1,888,800 signing bonus.[13]

Dillon Peters

Dillon James Peters (born August 31, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Miami Marlins organization.

Peters attended Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, Indiana and was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 20th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft. He did not sign and attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he played college baseball.[32][33] His junior season came to an end early after he suffered an elbow injury which required Tommy John Surgery.[34] Despite the injury, he drafted by the Miami Marlins in the 10th round of the 2014 MLB draft.[35]

Peters made his professional debut in 2015 with the Gulf Coast Marlins and was later promoted to the Batavia Muckdogs. In 2016, he played for the Jupiter Hammerheads and Jacksonville Suns.[36][37]

Colby Suggs

Logan Colby Suggs (born October 25, 1991) is an American professional baseball player. A pitcher, Suggs plays in Minor League Baseball for the Miami Marlins organization. Prior to playing professionally, Suggs attended the University of Arkansas, where he played college baseball for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Suggs attended Sulphur Springs High School in Sulphur Springs, Texas, and played for the school's baseball and American football teams. In football, he played center for the school's state championship team. He was not selected in the Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft after graduating from high school, so he enrolled at the University of Arkansas to play college baseball for the Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team.[38] Suggs pitched in relief for the Razorbacks.[39] In 2013, Suggs recorded 13 saves, a Razorbacks record.[40]

The Miami Marlins selected Suggs in the second round, with the 73rd overall selection, of the 2013 MLB draft.[38]

David Javier Vidal (born October 23, 1989) is a Puerto Rican baseball third baseman in the Miami Marlins organization. He was chosen in the 8th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft, 247th overall by the Cincinnati Reds.

In February 2017, he was named MVP of the Caribbean Series when he helped Puerto Rico's team, the Criollos de Caguas, win their 4th title.[41]
