Jimmy Pruitt (born November 28, 1992) is an American football cornerback who is currently a free agent. He played college football at San Jose State.
Early life
Born in San Diego, California, Pruitt attended Helix High School in La Mesa, California.
College career
Played at San Jose State from 2012 to 2014 finished his career with 130 tackles and 5 interceptions[1]
Professional career
Pruitt was signed as an undrafted free agente by the Saints in 2016. He suffered a torn patellar tendon during the Saints' third preseason game versus the Steelers in August 2016. He was placed on IR.[2] He was waived by the Saints on May 1, 2017 with a failed physical.[3]
