The Jhinwar is a Hindu caste and Sikh caste found in the states of Haryana and Punjab in India. They are also known as Mehra or Mehre.

Traditionally, the Jhinwar community was associated with occupations such as boating,[1] carrying water[2] and river fishing.[3]
