Jesse Virtanen (born 7 August 1991) is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for Färjestad BK in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
Virtanen previously played the entirety of his youth and professional career with hometown club, Lukko of the Finnish Liiga.[1] At the completion of the 2016–17 season, his 8th in the Liiga, Virtanen opted for a new challenge in agreeing to a one-year deal with Swedish club, Färjestad BK, on April 26, 2017.[2]
