Jeffries Point, Boston

Jeffries Point is a neighborhood along the waterfront in East Boston, Massachusetts, United States. It is near the harbor, marinas, Piers Park, and the skyline views. Jeffries Point has become home to many young professionals and families, looking for quality living close to the city center. Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina is home to Harbor Arts and the neighborhood includes many different types of restaurants.

Restaurants

KO Pies - Established in October 2010, KO Pies is the first Australian-inspired food business in New England. Signature menu items include traditional savory meat and vegetarian pies, barbequed grilled seafood, and a variety of healthy, seasonal salads.[1]

Cunard Tavern - As Jefferies Point's newest restaurant addition, Cunard Tavern spans an entire first floor with a 65-seat main dining room and a 10-seat bar. On the roof, a deck accommodates 35 with views of the Harbor and skyline. Industrial details abound, including high ceilings inside, shipping containers repurposed as the bar, reclaimed wood, an upcycled beer can mural, and other art.[2]

Maverick Marketplace Cafe - The popular cafe on Maverick Street that has been featuring live music, and serving up good food, funky drinks and craft beers since 2014[3]

History

The 101st Intelligence Squadron once built its own air base on land-filled tidal flats at the Point.[4]
