Jean Marie Twenge (born August 24, 1971) is an American psychologist, author, consultant, and public speaker. She is a professor of psychology at San Diego State University. She is known for researching narcissism, which, she has concluded, is more common among younger generations.[2] She is also known for her books Generation Me and the Narcissism Epidemic, and has worked as a consultant to advise companies about the distinctive psychological aspects of millennials.[3]
