Jayden Laverde (born 12 April 1996) is a professional Australian rules footballer with the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by the Essendon Football Club with the 20th overall selection in the 2014 national draft.[1]

Laverde played for the Western Jets in the TAC Cup[2] and junior football for Keilor Football Club.[3] He was named All-Australian in the AFL Under 18 Championships, playing for Vic Metro.[4] He made his AFL debut against Melbourne in round 15 of the 2015 AFL season.[5]
