Jatoi (tribe)

Jatoi (Urdu: جتوئی) is a Baloch tribe settled in Balochistan, Punjab and Sindh provinces of Pakistan.

Chief of all the Jatoies was Khan Bahadur Khan Ghulam Rasool Khan Jatoi from Sindh the present Nawab of Jatoi is Mir Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi. Members of Jatoi tribe have held senior political positions including Prime Minister [[Ghulam mustafa khan JATOI .

Structure

The jatoi tribe is a large tribe of 900,000 inhabiting Pakistanl Iran, Jordan and other parts of the world. It has fifty-five subclans in it such as Shar Bullo Khosh. The Jatoi tribe is one of the biggest tribes of Baloch. They originated in Bolan district Balochistan.[1] The Jatoi tribe is involved in armed clashes with other tribes in Sindh.[2][3]
