Jason Blaine (born April 19, 1980 in Pembroke, Ontario) is a Canadian country music singer/songwriter from Pembroke, Ontario.[1] The winner of Project Discovery 2002, Blaine has charted four singles on the Canadian Hot 100.[2]

Career

In 2002, Jason Blaine won Project Discovery 2002, a talent search sponsored by CMT.[3] His victory led to the release of his first single the following year, "That's What I Do." Working with producer Jason Barry, Blaine released his independent debut album, While We Were Waiting, on July 26, 2005. Singles released from the album include "Heartache Like Mine," "While We Were Waiting" and "What I Can't Forget." Blaine signed with Icon Records in 2006, who re-released his album on June 24.

Blaine moved to Nashville to begin work on his second album. Make My Move was released by Koch Entertainment Canada on May 20, 2008. It was followed by Sweet Sundown in 2010 and Life So Far in 2011, both released by E1 Entertainment Canada. In 2013 he released his fifth album, Everything I Love,[4] followed by his most recent one, Country Side, in 2015.[5]

He lives in Nashville with his wife and four children.[6]
