Jamie Kensit (born 6 August 1963) is a professional guitar player who played with the pop band Eighth Wonder. He is brother to singer and actress Patsy Kensit.

His mother was a publicist; his father was an associate of the notorious London gangsters the Kray twins. Nicknamed "Jimmy the Dip", his father reportedly worked for the rival Richardsons, running long firms for the gang. Jamie is godson to Reggie Kray.[1] His father served time in prison during Jamie's childhood; Jamie and sister Patsy believed he was an antiques dealer. Kensit's parents did not marry until 1986. His paternal grandfather was a robber and counterfeiter.[2]

Jamie attended the Roman Catholic Gunnersbury Boys' School. He grew up in the London borough of Hounslow.[3]

Uncle to Lennon Gallagher and James Kerr; Jamie has two step-children.
