James Ohio Pattie
James Ohio Pattie (c. 1804 - c. 1851) was an American frontiersman and author from Kentucky. He did most of his work with his father, Sylvester Pattie. The books written about him and his work were "American Ecclesiastes]", by Richard Batman and "The Personal Narrative of James O. Pattie of Kentucky" Some of it was trapping beaver.[1] In 1831, Pattie collaborated with Timothy Flint to publish The Personal Narrative of James O. Pattie of Kentucky, which described his travels through what is now the Western United States and Mexico.[1]
