James Malcolm joined Ayr Rugby Club at the start of the 2013–14 season.[1]

Malcolm secured an Elite Development Programme and was aligned to Glasgow Warriors for the 2014–15 season.[2] This meant he could continue playing for Ayr RFC whilst training and challenging for a place at the Warriors.
