James Haldane (19 December 1890 – 27 August 1915) was a Scottish professional footballer who played in the Scottish League for Lochgelly United.[3] He was killed in action during the First World War.[4]
Personal life
Soon after the outbreak of the First World War in August 1914, Herbertson enlisted as a private in the Royal Scots.[3] He was killed in action in France on 27 August 1915 and buried in Cambrin Churchyard Extension.[2]
