Yency Almonte (born June 4, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Colorado Rockies organization.
Almonte attended Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Florida and was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 17th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.[1] He made his professional debut with the Arizona League Angels. He pitched 2013 with the Orem Owlz and 2014 with the Arizona League Angels and Burlington Bees. Prior to the 2015 season, Almonte was acquired by the Chicago White Sox as the player to be named later from an earlier trade for Gordon Beckham.[2] He pitched that season with the Kannapolis Intimidators and Winston-Salem Dash.
On November 24, 2015, Almonte was traded to the Colorado Rockies for Tommy Kahnle.[3] He spent the 2016 season with the Modesto Nuts and Hartford Yard Goats.[4][5] The Rockies added him to their 40-man roster after the season.[6]

Ryan Castellani (born April 1, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Colorado Rockies organization.
Castellani attended Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona.[7] He was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the second round of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft.[8][9] He signed with the Rockies and made his professional debut with the Tri-City Dust Devils.[10] Castellani played 2015 with the Asheville Tourists where he was 2-7 with a 4.45 ERA. He spent 2016 with the Modesto Nuts where he posted a 7-8 record with a 3.81 ERA.[11]

Noel Cuevas

Noel A. Cuevas (born October 2, 1991) is an outfielder in the Colorado Rockies organization. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 21st round of the 2010 MLB draft out of Universidad Interamericana in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
After a brief appearance (3 games) with the Arizona League Dodgers in 2010, he began 2011 with the Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League (baseball), where he hit .285 in 60 games. He also appeared in 23 games with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, but hit just .220 with them. In 2012, he played 23 games in the Arizona League, 13 in the Pioneer League and 50 in the Midwest League with the Great Lakes Loons. Overall, he hit .267. In 2014, he spent the entire season with the Quakes and hit .284 with 12 homers and 66 RBI in 123 games. He made the mid-season California League all-star team.[12] He was promoted in 2014 to the AA Chattanooga Lookouts of the Southern League and hit .231 in 131 games.
On December 16, 2014, he was traded to the Colorado Rockies as the player to be named later in the previous trade that sent pitcher Juan Nicasio to the Dodgers.[13]

James Farris

James Robert Farris (born April 4, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Colorado Rockies organization.
Farris attended Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona, and the University of Arizona, where he played college baseball for the Arizona Wildcats. He pitched for the Wildcats in the 2012 College World Series.[14][15] The Chicago Cubs selected Farris in the ninth round of the 2014 MLB draft.[16] After the 2016 season, he pitched for the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League.[17]
On February 1, 2017, the Cubs traded Farris to the Colorado Rockies for Eddie Butler.[18]

Rayan González (born October 18, 1990) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball pitcher in the Colorado Rockies organization.
González attended Antonio Luchetti High School in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 18th round of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft. He did not sign with the Athletics and attended Bethune–Cookman University. He was then drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 21st round of the 2012 MLB Draft.[19] The Rockies added González to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season.[20]

Garrett Reese Hampson (born October 4, 1994) is an American professional baseball player in the Colorado Rockies organization. He currently plays shortstop for the Lancaster JetHawks.
Hampson was drafted by the Rockies in the 3rd round of the 2016 Amateur draft out of Cal State Long Beach.[21] He played the 2016 season with the Boise Hawks, where he was named both a Northwest League mid-season and post-season all-star, as well as a Baseball America Short-Season All-Star for the 2016 season.[22]
He was named the 19th best prospect in the Rockies system prior to the 2017 season.[23]

Rosell Herrera

Rosell Amado Herrera (October 16, 1992[24]) is a center fielder in the Colorado Rockies organization.
He was signed by the Rockies as a non-drafted free agent in 2009. In 2011, Baseball America named him the fifth-best prospect in the Pioneer League.[25]
A shortstop and occasional third baseman throughout his career, he was switched to the outfield in 2015 while playing his second season in High-A Modesto.
Prior to the 2013 season, MLB named him the 12th best prospect in the Rockies system. He was added to the Rockies 40-man roster on November 20, 2013.[26] Following the 2015 season, Herrera was non-tendered and elected free agency, but re-signed with the Rockies on a minor league deal.

Jemiola attended Great Oak High School in Temecula, California and was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the ninth round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.[27] The Rockies added him to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season.[6]

William Bradley Lamb (born September 9, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Colorado Rockies organization.
Lamb attended York High School in Yorktown, Virginia. He enrolled at Clemson University to play college baseball for the Clemson Tigers as a center fielder and pitcher.[28][29]
The Texas Rangers selected Lamb in the second round of the 2011 MLB Draft as a pitcher. He signed, receiving a $430,200 signing bonus, and was assigned to the Spokane Indians of the Class A-Short Season Northwest League.[30]
Lamb began the 2014 season with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League, and received a promotion to the Frisco RoughRiders of the Class AA Texas League during the season.[31]
On December 10, 2015, the Rangers traded Lamb to the Chicago White Sox for Myles Jaye.[32]
The White Sox traded Lamb to the Rockies on July 25, 2017 for cash considerations.[33]

Peter Joseph Lambert (born April 18, 1997) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Colorado Rockies organization.
Lambert attended San Dimas High School in San Dimas, California. As a senior, he was the Los Angeles Times prep baseball player of the year after going 13–0 with a 0.34 earned run average (ERA).[34]
Lambert was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the second round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft.[35] He signed with the Rockies and made his professional debut with the Grand Junction Rockies. Lambert spent 2016 with the Asheville Tourists,[36] where he posted a 5-8 record with a 3.93 ERA.[37]

Samuel John Moll (born January 3, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Colorado Rockies organization.
Moll played college baseball at the University of Memphis. He was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the third round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft.[38] He made his professional debut with the Tri-City Dust Devils,[39][40] posting a 1.80 ERA in 30 innings pitched. In July, Moll combined with three other pitchers to throw a no-hitter.[41] He returned to Tri-City in 2014 and appeared in only nine games due to injury. In 2015, he pitched for both the Modesto Nuts and New Britain Rock Cats, where he posted a combined 2.63 ERA with 74 stikeouts in 68.1 innings pitched between both clubs. After the season, he pitched in the Arizona Fall League. Moll spent 2016 with the Albuquerque Isotopes, where he posted a 3-5 record with a 4.94 ERA.[42] The Rockies added him to their 40-man roster after the season.[6] He was designated for assignment on August 11, 2017 [43].

Dominic Manuel "Dom" Nunez (January 17, 1995) is a catcher in the Colorado Rockies organization.
Nunez was drafted by the Rockies in the sixth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft out of Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove, California.[44] He played the 2013 and 2014 seasons with the Grand Junction Rockies before being promoted to Single-A Asheville in 2015.
Prior to the 2016 season, MLB.com named him the 7th best catching prospect in baseball.[45]

Forrest Alexander Wall (born November 20, 1995) is an American professional baseball second baseman in the Colorado Rockies organization.
Wall attended Orangewood Christian High School in Maitland, Florida. A four-year starter on the baseball team, he hit .461 with nine home runs, 70 runs batted in and 70 stolen bases in 79 career games.[46]
Wall was drafted by the Colorado Rockies 35th overall in the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.[47] He signed with the Rockies and made his professional debut with the Grand Junction Rockies.[48][49] Wall spent 2014 with the Grand Junction Rockies where he posted a .318 batting average with 3 home runs and 24 RBI's, along with 18 stolen bases. In 2015, Wall played 99 games for the Asheville Tourists and 4 games for the Boise Hawks while on a rehab assignment. Wall ended 2015 with a .286 batting average, along with 7 home runs and 47 RBI's.
Prior to the 2016 season, MLB.com named him the 4th best second base prospect in baseball.[50] Wall spent 2016 with the Modesto Nuts, where he posted a .264 batting average, with 6 home runs and 56 RBI's.[51]

Colton Welker (born October 9, 1997) is an American professional baseball player in the Colorado Rockies organization. He plays third base.
Welker was drafted by the Rockies in the 4th round of the 2016 Amateur draft out of Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.[52] He played the 2016 season with the Grand Junction Rockies, where he was named both a Pioneer League mid-season all-star and a Rockies organizational all-star at the end of the season.[53] He began 2017 with the Asheville Tourists.
He was named the 15th best prospect in the Rockies system prior to the 2017 season.[54]
