James Donaldson is an English professional rugby league player who currently plays for Hull Kingston Rovers in the Kingstone Press Championship. His preferred playing position is Loose forward.

Early years

James Donaldson was born in Whitehaven. He attended Whitehaven School.

He played a key role in the Rugby League European under-16 championship 2007, where Whitehaven School represented England.

Donaldson was much sought after as a junior and signed for Bradford despite offers from many other top clubs. A loose forward, Donaldson hails from Cumbria and played for the famous Wath Brow Hornets amateur side.

Hull Kingston Rovers

Donaldson joined Hull Kingston Rovers from 2015 and has agreed to remain for the 2017 season.[2][3]
