James Cox Chambers (born 1956/57) is an American billionaire.
Early life
He is the son of Anne Cox Chambers, and the grandson of the newspaper publisher James M. Cox. As of March 2016, his net worth is $6.4 billion.[2]
Chambers graduated from Bard College in 1982.[3]
Career
Chambers is an actor, dancer, and choreographer. Chambers appeared in the 1984 film Alphabet City.[3][4]
Wealth
In 2015, Anne Cox Chambers distributed her 49% share in Cox Enterprises equally between her three children, Katharine Rayner, Margaretta Taylor, and James Cox Chambers.[1]
Personal life
In 1982, Chambers married fellow Bard College alumna and actress Lauren Hamilton, the daughter of James Cox Hamilton and Margaret Hamilton, both of Cambridge, Massachusetts.[5]
