James Clarence Inzer (March 5, 1887 – December 20, 1967)[1] was an American politician who served as the 16th Lieutenant Governor of Alabama from 1947 to 1951.
One of the defeated candidates in the 1946 primary for lieutenant governor was Elvin McCary of Anniston, who in 1950 defected to the Republican Party.[2]
