Bradberry was selected 62nd overall by the Carolina Panthers. On May 10, 2016, Bradberry signed a 4-year, $3.69 million contract with the Panthers. The contract includes a $1.08 million signing bonus with $1.71 million guaranteed.[4]
He opened the 2016 NFL season as one of the starting cornerbacks, opposite veteran Bené Benwikere. After Julio Jones had 300 receiving yards over the Carolina Panthers in Week 4 of the NFL season, primarily against Benwikere and Daryl Worley, Benwikere was released.[5] This made Bradberry the number one starting cornerback, with fellow rookies Daryl Worley and Zack Sanchez the numbers two and three cornerbacks.[6] Bradberry would finish the season ranked by respected analytic site Pro Football Focus as the top-graded rookie cornerback of 2016 and number twenty overall.[7][8]
On June 5, 2017, Bradberry suffered a fractured wrist during OTAs and was ruled out for a least a month.[9]
