James Bird (cricketer)
James Waller Bird (born 19 November 1808 at Little Waltham, Chelmsford, Essex; died 20 February 1876 at Paddington, London) was an English cricketer with amateur status. He was educated at Winchester College and Wadham College, Oxford, and played first-class cricket for Oxford University 1827–29.[1] He became a Church of England priest and was rector of Foulsham, Norfolk, from 1855 until his death.[2]
