Jaimie Leonoff is a Canadian-born women's ice hockey goaltender. Of note, she played her NCAA ice hockey with the Yale Bulldogs. Upon graduation, she signed with the NWHL's Connecticut Whale as a free agent. On October 11, 2015, she won the inaugural game in NWHL history.
Playing career
Prior to committing to the Yale Bulldogs, Leonoff graduated from the Pomfret School then she played junior hockey with various teams. As a member of the Quebec Bulldogs, the club won the 2010 Quebec City Challenge Cup. In the same year, she played with the Connecticut Polar Bears. With Belle Tire (a Michigan-based junior team), she captured the 2011 North American Friendship Tournament.
NWHL
On July 26, 2015, she was signed as a free agent by the Connecticut Whale. On the same day, the Whale also signed fellow Yale alum Tara Tomimoto.[1] Leonoff would be the starting goaltender for the Whale in the NWHL's inaugural game, an October 11, 2015 match against the New York Riveters.

Leonoff has served as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and also spent time volunteering with impoverished children in South Africa.
