Jacobu is a town near ashanti Bekwai and is the capital town of Amansie Central, a district in the Ashanti Region of Ghanajacobu and its neighbouring town forms the Odotobri paramountcy. The current chief of jacobu is Nana fosu kwadjobri. Jacobu is rich in minerals including gold, timber and also export most of ghanain food stuff since the people living in those area engage themselves in active farming as their occupation .[1] The town is known for the Jacobu Secondary Technical School.[2][3] The school is a second cycle institution.[4]
