Dr. J. S. Randhawa is an international radiologist[2] and film-maker.[3]

Early life

Randhawa was born in Lucknow in an educated middle-class family. His father was an acknowledged government lawyer while mother was working with the telephone department. He was eldest among the three brothers. Though his family was well educated they had to face financial problems during his childhood. He spent his early childhood in a small rented one and a half room house in a Gurudwara in Lucknow. It was in the year 1993 when Randhawa married his college sweetheart and they were blessed with a daughter.

Filmmaker

After being in the medical industry for more than 20 years, Randhawa ventured into films.[4] He launched his production company – Reverberation Films Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2015. Upcoming Hindi film Muskurahatein starring Sanjay Mishra, Rakesh Bedi amongst others[5] will release on 25 August 2017 under this banner.[6] 10 nahi 40 is the second film from the banner which is scheduled to release in early 2018. Randhawa has stated that he will use all the profits and proceedings from his movies for spreading social awareness and doing charitable works.[7]
