JW Marriott is a luxury hotel chain that is a brand of Marriott International. It is named after John Willard Marriott, the founder of Marriott Corporation.
It competes with brands such as Westin by Starwood (also owned by Marriott International) and Conrad by Hilton, as well as, to an increasing degree, luxury brands such as Four Seasons, Park Hyatt and Ritz-Carlton (also owned by Marriott International).
