Ivan Dorn (born 17 October 1988[1]) is a singer, DJ, TV presenter and producer, the former member of the band "Para Normalnyh" (Пара Нормальных).[2] Since 2010 he is a solo artist. His music combines elements of house, disco, pop, jazz, funk, UK garage, hip-hop and soul.

Biography

Ivan Dorn was born 17 October 1988 in Chelyabinsk, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. In 1990, he moved in Slavutych, Ukraine. Until second grade, he had the last name "Eremin." Later, his mother Lidia Dorn changed his surname to "Dorn". He began acting at the age of 6 years at the festival «gold autumn of Slavutich».

Ivan actively engaged in sport, became the owner of many prizes, medals and cups of Curling and lacrosse sticks in Dubai. Ivan got musical education in piano, became the laureate and winner of many music competitions, among which are:

Career

In 2006, he sang in a Moscow a cappella duo, but soon decided to return to Ukraine and to join the Kiev National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University. In 2006, at the concert of Jamiroquai, he met Anna Dobrydneva and they created the duo «Para Normalnyh».

From 2007 to 2010, he sang together with Anna in the group «Para Normalnyh». With 2010 is changed by Ukrainian singer Artem Meh.

In 2008, he was the host of the program «Guten Morgen» on M1 channel.

He released his debut studio album "Co'N'Dorn"[3] in 2012.

In 2014, Dorn was a judge on the fifth season of X Factor Ukraine.[4]

In 2016, Dorn was a coach at The Voice Ukraine.[5]

In February 2017, Dorn released his first live album "Jazzy Funky Dorn".

At the moment, Ivan is working on his first English-language album in Los Angeles, while also remotely running his own label Masterskaya,[6] which supports the most talented artists of the local underground scene.[7]
