Ishwor Pokhrel (Nepali: ईश्वर पोखरेल Listen ) is the current General Secretary of Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) and also the former General Secretary from the same party.
EARLY LIFE AND CHILDHOOD
Ishwar Pokhrel born on 4 February 1954 is a Nepali politician currently serving CPN-UML (Communist Party of Nepal – Unified Marxist Leninist) as a Party General Secretary since 2009 to present. He is also the Founding member of Central Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal (ML) and also the founding member of the Central Committee, CPN (UML).
He was the youngest among eight siblings born to Ram Kumari Pokhrel (mother) and Shiva Hari Pokhrel (Father) in Mamkha-2, Okhaldhunga district of Nepal. He is married to Mira Dhonju Pokhrel and together has two sons – Shreejan Pokhrel and Swaraj Pokhrel.
