Iona Pinto was an Indian model and beauty queen.[1][2]
Career and pageantry
She participated in Eve's Weekly Miss India in 1960. She was crowned the first Eve's Weekly Miss India and represented India at the first edition of Miss International in 1960. She was declared first runner up.[3] She later represented India at the Miss World 1960 pageant but remained unplaced.[4] After Miss World she returned to India and did modeling.
Personal life
She was married to Allan Vaz. She had five children.
Death
She died on June 21, 2012.
