This is a list of the fictional Star Trek universe's Starfleet ships organized by ship class. These vessels appear or are mentioned in the original Star Trek series (TOS), Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNG), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (DSN), Star Trek: Voyager (VOY), Star Trek: Enterprise (ENT), the Star Trek films, or the Star Trek games. Many of the ship names, classes, or registry numbers are not identified on screen and instead are derived from The Star Trek Encyclopedia.[1] This listing does not include ships mentioned in fan fiction related to Star Trek.
Some Star Trek ships are extremely well-known and famous: the original Enterprise is in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, as is the Klingon D-7.
