Intravascular papillary endothelial hyperplasia (also known as "Masson's hemangio-endotheliome vegetant intravasculaire,"[1] "Masson's lesion,"[1] "Masson's pseudoangiosarcoma,"[1] "Masson's tumor,"[1] and "Papillary endothelial hyperplasia"[1]) is a rare, benign tumor. It may mimic an angiosarcoma, with lesions that are red or purplish 5-mm to 5-cm papules and deep nodules on the head, neck, or upper extremities.[1][2]:592
