Intervac International is a worldwide organisation that facilitates exchanges of homes ("home exchange" or "house swapping") for vacations. Proponents of this form of travel call it culturally-enriching, comfortable and economic while promoting international contacts and understanding [1][2][3]
Intervac was founded in 1953.[4] It is the longest operating home exchange service. Intervac has thousands of members based in 50 countries worldwide.
