The International School of Moscow (abbreviated ISM) is an international school serving the expatriate community in Moscow (children aged 2 to 18 years – Pre-Nursery to Year 13). The school follows the English National Curriculum with students taking their IGCSE and AS/A Level exams in secondary school.
It was established in April 2007.[1]
Location and facilities
The school has two campuses: one in Krylatskoye District, Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow, and one in Rosinka, Krasnogorsky District, Moscow Oblast.[2] Facilities include modern classrooms, science labs, libraries, ICT rooms, sports facilities and a dining hall.
Administration
ISM is governed by the British Schools Foundation, a UK non-profit organisation which aims to promote British-style education worldwide. The day-to-day operation is overseen by the headteacher. The school is also an affiliate of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), and licensed by the Russian authorities.
