Interhemispheric Resource Center

The Interhemispheric Resource Center, which later became the International Relations Center, was founded in 1979 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, focusing initially on "The plight of undocumented Mexican workers and the impact of energy development on indigenous communities in the [American] Southwest" ("History").
