International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-NR) or Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee International Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur (Hindi: डॉ.श्यामाप्रसाद मुखर्जी अंतरराष्ट्रीय सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान ) is an autonomous university in Naya Raipur, India. History
Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee IIIT-Naya Raipur, established by the International Institute of Information Technology University Act, 2013 of the Government of Chhattisgarh, is a joint venture of Chhattisgarh State Government and NTPC Ltd. The institute is committed to pursue excellence in higher education, research and development in Information Technology (IT) and associated disciplines. It firmly believes in bestowing knowledge dissemination and imparting entrepreneurial skills to the students to enable them to address real world problems. To empower this vision, IIIT-NR provides state-of-the-art research and education facilities and nurtures a campus culture that fosters high energy and enthusiasm in every individual, clubbed with highest standard of professionalism.
Location
The fifty-hectare fully residential campus of IIIT-NR is located in the newly developed smart city of Naya Raipur, approximately 23 Kms. from the city of Raipur.

IIIT-NR currently runs two undergraduate programmes: B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) and B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE). These credit-based programmes are designed to foster core skills with innovation and entrepreneurship skills among students. Admissions
Admission to the undergraduate programmes of the DSPM IIIT-NR is based strictly on the merit of the candidates as per their performance in JEE (Joint Entrance Examination). The minimum eligibility for applying for the B.Tech. programmes at IIIT-NR is 10+2 pass with 50% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics (45% for SC/ST candidates).
Faculty
Recognizing the need for imparting education in all dimensions of learning, the institute has a highly-qualified and motivated team of academicians from Electronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, English, Management Science and Humanities.
Research
Research in IIIT-NR has an applied/ transnational focus, addressing a critical gap in India. The endeavor of the Institute is to establish strong links with industry to strengthen applied research as well as hands-on learning to enable translation of technology to markets. Faculty members are encouraged to take up research and consultancy projects, whereas students work on research projects both within the institute and with industry.
Entrepreneurship
Fostering entrepreneurship is one of the primary objectives of the institute. Students are encouraged to work with industry and develop products to address real world solutions. One of the reasons of introducing theme based learning is to enable students to take up projects in allied disciplines at the intersection of IT and other fields, to develop solutions across domains.
Campus
The area of the institute campus is 50 acres. The vibrant lush green campus of IIIT-NR is enabled with Wi-Fi connectivity, excellent amenities for sports and other recreational activities. The modern architecture of the buildings and the serene environment of the campus fosters an ambience for the students for creativity and innovation. The classrooms and laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies for teaching and learning.
