International Conference on Sociolinguistics

The International Conference on Sociolinguistics ("ICS") is a new forum for sociolinguistics research'. It aims to function as a dissemination platform as well as a research hub, bringing together academics working in diverse subfields of sociolinguistics. The inaugural conference (ICS-1)', entitled "Insights from Complexity, Superdiversity and Multimodality" will be hosted by Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, 1-3 September, 2016.

ICS-2 will be hosted by Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, 6-8 September, 2018, after which ICS will become itinerant. ICS-3 venue application is open.
