Inter Futebol Clube do Porto Novo is a football club that currently plays in the Santo Antão Island League South Zone in Cape Verde. It is based in the town of Porto Novo and plays at its municipal stadium.

The name of the club is to that of the international relationship as other Inter clubs around the world.

History

The club was founded around the late 20th century.

Inter became an official registered club and a member of the Santo Antão South Zone Regional Football Association (ARFZSSA) in 2007. Alongside Fiorentina Porto Novo and Lajedos, they played their first match in 2008.

Inter did not participate in 2012 due to financial problems but returned the following season. In recent years, the club finished fifth in 2014 (13 points) and in 2017 (10 points). In 2015 and 2016, Inter finished eighth and had the same wins, draws, and losses but not in goal numbers which was 31 in 2015 and 33 in 2016.

In other competitions, Inter was finalist in the Santo Antão South regional cup and qualified into the regional cup as Marítimo was also champion and cup winner. They defeated Marítimo and won their only title
